Functie

NTT DATA is currently looking for a IT Project Manager for one of our clients in the public sector in Brussels. This role can be performed hybrid between the office and homeworking (at least 2 days a week)

Role

The company is looking for an IT Project Manager. He/she will be mainly in charge of the following activities:

• Controlling the scope of the IT team and its various aspects: planning, resource management, budget, risk and problem management, documentation and monitoring reports, using an adapted project management methodology;
• Coordination: day-to-day management and supervision of the IT team of 3 people (two IT Technicians and an Implementation Manager);
• IT project management: the Project Manager directly manages certain projects and coordinates projects managed by other IT team members;
• Information management for the team and users (internal and external): communication, support, training, workshops with users, ....;
• Responsible for reporting on IT projects to General Management and the Project Steering Committee.
• Service catalog: the company provides a number of services for regional institutions ('Learning', 'Recruitment' and 'Performance' tools). Active participation of the Project Manager in the development and implementation of IT processes for the use of these services by these institutions;

Technical skills

• Experience in project management related to data management.
• Experience of Agile working methods and Kanban management.
• Understanding of cloud architecture roadmaps and principles.
• Experience of frequent interaction with senior management.
• Knowledge of PMI, Prince 2 project management methodologies (certification is a plus).
• Familiarity with Office 365 office tools.
• Azure (and AWS) certifications a plus.
• Knowledge of Scrum teams
• MS-Project management (or other project tool).

Experience

• Higher education diploma or university degree.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant professional experience in IT project implementation and/or in an IT environment.
• PMO experience is an advantage.
• Experience with Cornerstone tools is an asset.

Languages: Good level of French and English and a passive knowledge of Dutch.
